Hi, I'm new here. Bought Batman few years back but didn't continue. Just suddenly I feels like wants to recollect this figures. BTW, so far only DC line were available in my country. (rumors that Marvel will be here next year). Hope I can learn more of this stuff from all the experts here. Peace.

HI. Today is my first day on the forums and I am finding my way around okay.

However, I get the impression that there are many images in some of the posts, but I am not able to see those images. I CAN see everyone's avatars, but cannot see any images IN the postings. I have reviewed the faq thoroughly, and no help there.

Hi Larry,

What are you seeing? Based on the operating memory of the computer - sometimes the heavy image threads take a little longer to upload.

Are you seeing a 'red x' inside a white box?

Also - what browser are you running off of?

We'll do our best to assist and help you out on this.

I am running Windows 7 on a fairly powerful computer I am fairly knowledgable computer wise - I assembled this computer myself from components.

I am viewing using IE 9

No red x graph. Just text, no place holder for graphics.

I have this problem in another forum using similar software, and there the problem is because graphics are turned off for non-registered users. When I log in I can see all of the graphics.

I just figured that here there must be a setting ... a button.. where I could turn graphics on and off, but I have not been able to find any such button.

When I go to the office today, I will try to access the forum there and see what happens - it is an older machine running windows XP.

Okay.. at the office now. No problem seeing images in posts, on this computer. So the problem is not with any account settings; the problem is with something on my home computer.

the images thing happened to me with the new internet explorer. downloaded firefox instead and all the images show up fine on that.

A few years back, on an earlier computer, and an earlier operating system, I had a problem accessing one website in particular and so started using FireFox for that website only. I really dislike the idea of multiple browsers. It may end up being what I have to do, but I am going to continue to try to figure out why IE is giving me problems here.

I've used Firefox and Chrome to view the website and never had any issues so I'd suggest try either of those from your machine and see how they do. I've never used IE9 myself so I'm afraid I couldn't advise on any specifics there but if you can view images fine from another computer on your account then I presume it must be your internet browser causing the issue!

It might be worth asking on a Microsoft/IE9 specific website to see if they know of any reason for the problem?

I can now see the images. One day I could not, next day I could. It did have to reboot my computer in the meantime, as I had a brief power failure. So it might be that something was interfering with proper display and got reset on the reboot.

I've picked up the DC Chess collection and have now stumbled on the CMFC and the DCFC collection, bit daunting where to start to be honest but just gonna jump in and see where it leads.

Hey everyone! Brand new to the site and to the Eaglemoss collection. Im a DC guy and my collection is in its infancy. Being a noob Im curious where you guys/gals pick up your pieces? Is it the local comicbook shop only? Some of your collections suplemented by online sellers? If so where are you buying from? Ebay? I ask because as a johnny come lately to this line I have some digging to do in order track down a lot the figurines that were released yrs ago. So Im looking for some help/wisdom!

One other thing...I appologize for the possibility that the line might be coming to an end. The reason for my appology is thus: I started collectiong Mattels Justice League figures a lil over year before Mattel announced the end of that line. Then I decided to collect the Young Justice figures by Mattel this past December and now THAT line has been canceled...And I recently started with Eaglemoss(mostly because their scale goes so well with the Young Justice Hall of Justice) and now theres a fair chance THIS line may be coming to an end :-( Seems anything I pick to collect is not long for the world. Sorry!

Hi, woza suggested i join the forum, I've been reading teh custom board for a while and I've bought figs from a number of the guys over there. I collect mostly the Marvel line, but I have over half the DC line as well.

I've never been so sad to join a forum in my life. I was just searching the net to see what might be coming down the road from Eaglemoss for Marvel and DC. I find out that they are both dead. Completely bummed. Can't believe we could get a Detective chimp, but be missing a Mongul.

I've been looking at the chess sets. Hopefully they fill in some of the gaps.

I'm heavily looking into customs now. I'm gonna look around, but if anyone wants to point me in the directions of tips and things for customs. I would appreciate it.

The arrival of my Robin and Batgirl today has prompted me to post, they were long awaited and made my week, fingers crossed Batman is soon to follow. My best friends collection makes me envious and puts mine to shame (currently only a collection of three) but it's a start. I'm now deep in thought trying to decide in what means to display them (shelf, display unit, stands etc??) ummmm...
